Small Shell Doily

This little doily is one of my favorites, so much so that it is, again, a pattern I got by looking at one already made. The name says it all: a small doily made from the "shell" stitch forms most of the doily in the center, surrounded by some chain rounds, then shells again.

Berka "Shell" Doily

Named for the crochet stitch this is made of, this charming little doily is a jewel. The center of the design is something of a star-burst or snowflake, with the edge of the doily being of a shell sort that makes the entire doily look like a flower. Of a perfect size to accent many things, cover a small bare space or be placed under a small lamp, etc. Hand-crocheted with 100% cotton thread.

This one is either a mini doily or a coaster, as you prefer. I think it is too large for a coaster, and that it makes a lovely little doily, but you may think it is nicer the other way around.

This lovely pattern is one I have been wanting to make for some time; now that I have made it, I wonder why I took so long to get around to it! :-)

Chains and Clusters Doily

This mid-sized doily, made up of chains and clusters (hence the name :-) ), is one of the prettiest, in my opinion. The very center is a small, cute flower, surrounded by a ring of clusters and a solid ring of stitching; the outer edges are a scallop. Easily used with something in the center, off-set to show center, or just to cover an otherwise empty space; very versatile. This one takes quite a bit of time to make, so it is a little more expensive for it's size, but well worth it. Hand-crocheted from 100% cotton.

White and Purple Purse

White purse has purple re-inforced bottom and purple heart

accenting side pocket. There is also a pocket on the inside,

opposite to the outside pocket. The seams are all double

stitched to create a long-lasting product. Size is

approximately 12" by 7" (This fits a standard size book quite

well, for all who may wonder. :) ) I am "normal" height and

this hangs so that the middle of the purse is at my waist,

quite a comfortable size.

A Light Thru the Darkness; a book of poetry

Finally Here! The Lord has allowed me to write a nomber of poems and my family and friends have encouraged me to have a book printed. These are all inspirational poems. It is now available and here is the title poem, to give you a sample.

A Light Thru the Darkness

A lighthouse in darkness, shining so full and bright,
Is Jesus my Saviour, my Strength, Guide and Light;
Thru the shadows of troubles and deep shades of night
This Light shines with comfort always in my sight.

Tho dark be the trials, yet Jesus shines thru.
Tho hard be the climbing my strength He renews.
Tho the river o'erflows me and comforts be few
This Light shines on surely, bringing hope to my view.

Thru deepest depression or thru trouble and fear
This Light shines so peaceful, so steady and clear.
In my troubles and trials He always appears;
This Light guides me on to His side ever near.

A Light thru the darkness is my Saviour and Friend,
And He will shine on to the very end;
He will lead me and guide me as Homeward I wend,
And in each situation He will joy to me lend.

Sunflower Apron

A nice apron, bibbed with a gathered skirt and very servicable pockets.

The print is a dark green background thickly covered with cheery

sunflowers. A great apron for coverage, while making your cooking
